Biliana is a Los Angeles-based ceramic artist; In addition to her studio work, she is currently an adjunct professor at Glendale Community College teaching beginning and intermediate hand-building ceramics and full time ceramics teacher at Flintridge Prep School in La Canada, CA. She holds Masters in Ceramics from the National Art Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2013, she received first place in the juried American Museum of Ceramic Art (AMOCA) Ceramic Biennial in Pomona. Her work is now included in the permanent collection at AMOCA. Her work was selected by the Art Museum Council of LACMA and featured at their 2012 Art + Architecture Tour as a special project. She was also the cover featured artist on “500 Figures in Clay,” Lark Books in 2014.​
